eTA Requirements
You are a visa-exempt foreign national (EU, UK, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc.)
You are travelling to Canada by air (eTA not needed for land/sea arrivals)
You have a valid passport from a visa-exempt country
You have no criminal or immigration-related inadmissibility
You intend to stay for less than 6 months
Apply online through the official Canada Immigration website. Most applications are approved within minutes. The eTA is electronically linked to your passport.
